Primo was named for the Hawai'ian beer. |

HISTORY Primo was collected on July 23, 1987 in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, near the Mississippi Sound. After capture it is thought that Primo was held at the Navy's facility in Hawai'i. In October of 1994 Primo was transferred to the Long Marine Lab where he participated in research studies funded by the Office of Naval Research. On Oct 31, 2000 Primo was "retired" from the Navy but continues to live at the Lab. |

FAMILY To our knowledge, Primo has not sired any calves. In the event animals are added to his family group this table will be updated.
